The vision of the AMA is to respond to the needs of the Islamic athletic community. We will support Muslim athletic programs throughout North America where they currently exist and establish programs in areas where they do not.
The AMA also intends to establish a physical education program in every Islamic school in North America. We will provide a budget to support these programs independent of the schools operating budget.

In areas where no Islamic school is present and/or for Muslim youth attending non-Muslim schools, our goal it to appoint an athletic director for that area. The Director's responsibility will be to establish Muslim sports activities in those local areas. These efforts currently exist in some areas, however, the need for a uniformed, consistent support mechanism is needed.
